I am using the CVS version for quite some time now and it suddenly stop working after the patches on februari 4 or 5.
When I try to watch liveTV or record something, the nuv file created will only be a few KB in size and the backend will start using 100% CPU usage. Only killing it will make the system respond again. I narrowed it down to the mpegrecorder.cpp and to this line: (ioctl(chanfd, IVTV_IOC_S_VBI_EMBED, &vbifmt) <, 0) I have defined the USE_IVTV_HEADER in settings.pro, but even without this define it will not work. When I remove the line above it works as normal again. I tried it with ivtv-0.3.2a and ivtv-0.3.2d, but that makes no difference at all. Is the above line really neccessary? And what can I do to prevent this from happening? By the way, I really need the ivtv 0.3.2 branch, because I am using a PVR500.
