I assumed that if commerical flagging was in progress, and you deleted a program, then mythcommflag would die, somehow.
This doesn't appear to be the case. Program started at 7:00pm, we started watching about 7:15pm. By 8:00pm, we were almost caught up, and by 8:34 we were done, and had deleted the program. However at 9:02pm, mythcommflag was still running on the primary backend. Unfortunately, I didn't put 2+2 together, and killed the process before I GDB'd it or at least got a better log. Commflag started here: 2005-02-22 20:00:48.218 Starting Commercial Flagging for "American Idol" recorded from channel 2089 at Tue Feb 22 19:00:00 2005. 2005-02-22 20:00:48.227 commflag: Commercial Flagging Starting We were done watching here: 2005-02-22 20:34:12.861 Changing from WatchingPreRecorded to None 2005-02-22 20:34:12.897 Changing from None to None I killed it here: 2005-02-22 21:02:28.598 commflag: Commercial Flagging Aborted 2005-02-22 21:02:28.694 ABORTED Commercial Flagging for "American Idol" recorded from channel 2089 at Tue Feb 22 19:00:00 2005. And the file was/is indeed gone from the backend when I deleted it: [EMAIL PROTECTED] tv]# ls -al 2089* ls: 2089*: No such file or directory So what was the commflag doing, and would it ever have died? (Questions, I'm sorry I didn't get logs to answer)
