I think it will vary widely. I know when I started my original MythTV
system, I had a single mountpoint for all my media (TV and Videos) and
my music was on my Windows boxes. I then moved my music into the
mountpoint and have since moved the music to a separate mountpoint but
my videos are still shared with my recordings.
