Its not sure that you need to go back to the Linux input layer, and I'm not sure you can. My reasoning is that using the input layer, the remote controls already work, and some remotes, ATI and Hauppaugge for example, go through the input layer to begin with. > However, it would be interesting to see if it wasn't possible to abstrct > the input layer further?
