Fork it and move on....  If Isaac and the community like the
direction, they'll switch.  Start investing time on the order that
Isaac has invested and something MIGHT happen.  Till then, enjoy your
free software.
     Sorry to be a cheerleader, but I think Isaac is doing an awesome
job.  I think everyone who has a "suggestion" has two options: start
submitting real work or start paying Isaac.  Like Linus is to Linux, I
believe this benevolent dictatorship is perfect for this project or it
would be a mess.  Hell... I have a very nice working DVR/jukebox and
only had to invest some time.  For that, I am most grateful.  Thanks to
all who submit patches and contribute to the lists for helping the rest
of us leeches.
     Disclaimer: I think my contributions stand as a one line patch
that is probably long obsolete.
