multiple parallell streams? In that case the decoder is supposed to pick
one stream but I don't know how XvMC works. Could you please post the
autopid log msgs from a few recordings so I can see which/how many pids
it's recording?

Ok I will have a look at that, how do I get an autopid log ?
I have progessed further on this, the problem seems to come from
dvbrecorder.cpp. If I take this file back to the CVS 2005-02-20
date (Hacked it a bit to get it to compile with current dvbrecorder.h),
the problem goes away .....
