* Get rid of the "Auto Transcode" checkbox on the LiveTV recording profiles.
When I schedule recordings, I may use any of the four profiles
including the one with the label "Live TV" (I use a lower res
with higher bitrate which also works well woth things like sports).
Perhaps what you're after is not honoring the "Auto Transcode" when
recording to a ringbuffer?
