Ivor Hewitt found some other VLD buffer init problems, that are fixed in this update. VLD is still broken, but thanks to a few debug logs I've gotten today, I think I know the cause, I believe it is due to the avformatdecoder->Reset() that I'm performing as part of startup for xvmc fallback to xv to work. I think this is also causing problems for the video preview code. I'll look at removing the reset hack for the next patch.
