Hi,
Attached patch adds a keybinding to mythmusic ("FILTER", defaults to "F") which brings up the same pop-up menu as "MENU", with one difference though: action taken through that menu will filter the "All My Music" tree on the main playback screen instead of adding the results from the selection to the playlist. This way, smart playlist filters can be used to more easily select music on the main screen. There is one minor drawback (although I personally don't care): the current playlist is reset after applying a new filter, due to how this is grafted onto existing code.
