I believe Quicktime uses 600Hz for their clock, it can be factored by 24, 25, 30, 50, and 60 so it can be used for film, PAL, and NTSC with a very small framerate error. Matching the monitor refresh is still a problem though, you really want a refresh rate of 100 for PAL countries and 120 for NTSC countries so you can have good timing for video and not get unbearable flicker when using the monitor normally. -- Daniel Kristjansson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
