I'm seeing periodic pauses, both from PVR-500 recordings and HD-2000 recordings. It doesn't matter whether it's a new recording (after latest CVS update) or an old one (several weeks old). I'm also seeing a few "prebuffering pause" messages on mythfrontend, but there doesn't seem to be one for every stutter.
I'm using a P4 3.2 Prescott, Nvidia FX5200, Nvidia 7174 drivers. Backend and frontend are connected via Gigabit Ethernet. Playback was flawless up until yesterday. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Greg Grotsky Sent: Sunday, April 17, 2005 2:38 PM To: Development of mythtv Subject: Re: [mythtv] 0.18 Choppy audio and video on some uk freeviewdvbchannels Jason, I am using a HD-3000 as well. I've noticed when changing to FOX the audio seems to always studder, though I can pause it for a second and play it again and the audio resumes. This is how I watch FOX when I'm flippin' channels. Try it out and see if it works for the channels that aren't fixed by the TS switch. -Greg On 4/17/05, Jason <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > If I change the dvb settings to record TS instead of PS seems to fix the > video on all channels and the audio on _some_ channels.
