I'm guessing "man curl" is your friend.

Only to a point. It does not give me the complete answer.

Do you know the answer, please ?

Dan,

This is not a good way to ask a question on a dev list. While often people are willing to give pointers, they are _not_ going to want to do your work for you.

Go read:

If you still don't know how to ask your question, mail me off list and I'll give you some pointers on a good question to ask (and where to ask it).

So just get wget installed. I will _not_ accept a patch that replaces it with
libcurl.

Dan - I assume you know that you only need wget for internal DataDirect use. Your options are:

Switch to mythfilldatabase and a locally patched tv_grab_dd to use curl, or

If you're building a MacOS application bundle, simply include wget in that bundle and use it.

Be well,
