Turning off libmpeg2 fixes the thumbnails in mythweb for me - this also
gives some better clues as to where to look!

I've checked what it looks like before and after transcoding, and the
effect does not exist until the video is transcoded.
It started to do this when I upgraded to latest CVS, somewhere around the
24th (give or take a few days). It's still like that what I last updated
(yesterday).
Do you still get that if u turn off "Use libmpeg2 decoding" in settings? I
turned that option off and the mythpreview seems to be fine now. Havn't see
transcoded shows yet as I'm at work.
