I agree in principle - the only problem is that for the purposes of completeness it doesn't make sense that *if* the user selected an unavailable channel that "nothing" happens. While there's a very small liklihood of it happening, it should be accounted for. I think in this case, simply a dialog box saying something like "this channel not available on this input, please use the program guide" would be fine. I'm really just voicing my thoughts on the ideal design - not suggesting that it's worth coding right now. -b
