Recently epg data from my dvb-c card started to have strange characters in it. I did a dvbsnoop of the EIT data and it looks like ComHem have started to transmit the guide data UTF8 encoded. When mythtv inserts it into the database it converts the data to UTF8 a second time, resulting in those wierd characters.
