It does normally take some time. The last time I saw this happen it on some important royal event about 4 months back. The changes came through but not for an hour or two. Think also of the human factor. Someone needs to manually put the updates in, and that then gets pushed out over the network. The person in charge of the updates that day may have been somewhat distracted.... The guide data you say changed, was that the now/next or the 14 day epg? Myth works off the 14day epg and doesn't use the now / next...
