I've tried using oss emulation and native alsa, and I've tried all
combinations of "use video as timebase" and "extra audio buffering".
Sound and video work fine in all other apps.

But still in Myth, I get video going too fast, and audio playing at
the correct sample rate, but skipping chunks in what appears to be a
vain attempt to keep up with the too-fast video. :(

What controls the speed of the DRM video timing method? (Which I seem
to always use.)

Thanks,
Ben
