I think you can forget about this problem, i examined my kernel logs and
found:

av7110_wait_msgstate: timeout waiting for MSGSTATE 0040
dvb-ttpci: __av7110_send_fw_cmd(): timeout waiting for COMMAND idle
dvb-ttpci: av7110_send_fw_cmd(): av7110_send_fw_cmd error -110
dvb-ttpci: av7110_fw_cmd error -110
dvb-ttpci: __av7110_send_fw_cmd(): timeout waiting for COMMAND idle
dvb-ttpci: av7110_send_fw_cmd(): av7110_send_fw_cmd error -110
dvb-ttpci: av7110_fw_cmd error -110

The dvb driver must have locked up somehow, i reloaded the module and now it
works again.
Sorry for the noise :-)
