Dear,
I've last night upgraded my test DVB-C system to svn current.

When it starts complaining about "not ATSC compliant" i can wait for
minutes (i've let it go on in this for over 10 minutes) without getting
video displayed.
The "PSIP packet has..." is not related to the problem, it looks
like the signal monitor finds what it is looking for. But it also
looks like it is kept running too long, it has to be shut down
before DVB recording is started.
Can you try the latest tuning patch here:
http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/339
Those Scanning problems are best left to someone in DVB land, this
is the scanning logic that works in England and Germany. But if the
frequency was messed up, then it may be your drivers, there was a
post a couple days ago about a fix for one of the DVB cards that
was returning the wrong frequency.

England has DVB-C, DVB-S and DVB-T (most known for)
Germany has DVB-C, DVB-S and some DVB-T. Germany most known for DVB-S.
Netherlands has DVB-C, DVB-S and some DVB-T (being extended)
France is starting (big) with DVB-T, has some DVB-C and receives DVB-S
Nordic has all three
Belgium has all three (limited on DVB-T)
Italy does not have DVB-C, but does have extensive DVB-T and DVB-S.
USA has pretty extensive DVB-S, and ATSC for terrestrial. Some DVB-C can
be found as well.
patch 6 improved tuning time rather impressively. Still trouble tuning
on any of the channels in that TS though.
What type of info can i provide to help?
I also checked the FE info using dvbsnoop -s feinfo, and the frequency
is correctly reported. Also, this would not account for the presence of
a series of TS with no valid symbolrate.
Thanks for your effort,
Rudy
