wouldn't it be easier (cleaner) to use the xmltvid field? If it's empty use the DBox data, if not you can fill the epg using mythfilldatabase. No need for an extra column.

I didn't add the 'useonairguide' column - it's already there (and still is, in SVN AFAIK).

Good idea to use the xmltvid field though.. I wish I'd thought of that. Never mind - only two lines of code to change to accomodate it ;-)

Justin.

What Daniel said about combining the onairguide (for the next few programs / days) and xmltv data (more days ahead) sounds realy good. Ans both field are needed for that. :-)

Now it's just waiting for Levent to see where he gets changing the dbox recorder over to using an udp based transfer protocol. This would make the dbox a usable recording source for me. For now only the real low bitrate channels are usable. Anything over 5mbit gives me quircks in the recordings (with a 10 mbit half duplex dbox2). Using the udrec way of recording (more info http://www.haraldmaiss.de/ , he even has a c++ linux client) I can get up to 8500 kbit recordings without a problem. So that would be realy nice to have.
