that checks the last modified on the pixmap against lastmodified in the
recorded table.
I'm sure it probably is triggered by that, I just haven't had time to
look into it. All I can say is that it is currently better than it
was a week or two ago. Then, it seemed like the preview was being
regenerated every time the current item was changed in playbackbox.
I am experiencing this as well, with svn 7477. It seems to regenerate on
almost every recording, even ones that have already been comm-flagged,
but not necessarily viewed. I'll try and narrow it down to specific
conditions that reproduce the behaviour. I've almost gotten to the point
of disabling it completely.
