I noticed the positioning problem,
So did I :)
I'm not really considering this for the next release. I'd like
to be able to select different video output methods for different
video streams first. So that you could say use XVideo with kernel
deinterlacing at for NTSC/PAL streams, regular XVideo for a 720p
stream and XvMC w/ChromaKey OSD for a 1080i HDTV stream.
That would be really nice!
Ok, I've tried the chromakey OSD. It is really nice to have a color OSD. However, I am also seeing the positioning problem mentioned above - this is a Geforce 4 MX 440 with Nvidia's 7174 driver.
Is this supposed to have any positive side-effects, like eating less CPU?
Anyways, just thought I'd let you know that this is working fine for me.
