I did go back to 18.1 and made sure my db was ok. and it it. I backed it up and am now trying to press forward with at least svn up -r 7738 and updating my db but can always fallback to the backup. but for some reason my OLD mythbackend won't go away! I am posting to a new thread on this one. After a succesfull make make install I still have the old mythbackend in place but the new mythfrontend. They don't play together very well either :>)

Well, yeah, that's one of the reasons I checked this in before this gag reply. The more obvious problem is if someone goes back to an earlier version there would be no way the basenames could ever be filled in. It looks like Steve may be going back to 0.18.1 having already updated the schema number. When he eventually upgrades to a later version, this fix will fill in the missing basenames. http://cvs.mythtv.org/trac/changeset/7765 -- bjm _______________________________________________ mythtv-dev mailing list [email protected] http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-dev _______________________________________________ mythtv-dev mailing list [email protected] http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-dev
