uhh.. No, I guess that was kind of dumb of me. I was just doing some clean
up and found that indeed mythbackend is being installed in /usr/local/bin
while I still have the old version in /usr/bin. Ugh.

I will try removing the rpm and see if things get better.

My guess is that the RPM version and the SVN version are being installed to
different locations. When starting the backend the old version is being run
from the old location.

Have you un-installed the RPMs?
