[mythtv] DVB + Diseqc 1.3/Goto X in scv 7607

I’m running 7607 with a Nexus 2.3 card hooked to a motor driven dish. I’m seeing a lot of weirdness in Myth when it comes to diseqc control (Goto X specifically). I can usually move the say once or twice but after that either the dish moved to the wrong angle or Myth sends multiple move requests within a very short period of time (about 20-30 in a couple minutes).

 

Should I upgrade my svn to fix this? If I upgrade to the latest, I see the live-tv ringbuffer stuff won’t work unless there’s program information available which I don’t always have for every channel. Is there a way around that?
