Yes, it's a 16:9 capabel tv, when using myth the tv is always in 16:9 mode and the output resolution from my epia box is 720x576 (one of those noscale modes) > Are you using Xinerama? No. I'm using a little gui overscan/adjustment, but only for the gui and not for livetv and watching recordings. > In both cases you need to tell MythTV the physical aspect > ratio of your > screen because it can't determine it accurately from the X server. > The settings are right after the Xinerama screen setting and in the > display resolution switching pane, resp.) Didn't see any aspect setting in the frontend, but that's probably because i don't use those two features? > If that isn't the problem, can you take a digital photo of your > screen for me so I can compare with the fonts on my screen? I'll see if i can borrow a friends camera and take a few pictures. > Oh, are you using Chromakey OSD or regular blended OSD? Haven't changed the osd type, so it's probably the blended then. _______________________________________________ mythtv-dev mailing list [email protected] http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-dev
