This sounds like #742, but this needs to be this way or the LiveTV recordings would all have a "no signal" stream prepended to them. These short "no signal" streams should get deleted by the autoexpire thread pretty quickly. The only problem I know of with this at the moment is that AvFormatDecoder::Reset() is having some issues with a RingBuffer switch happens before there is much data in the new recording file. This happens if you switch between channels on the same transport, for example. I'm testing a more robust Reset() locally, but until I have the kinks worked out it should be fairly safe to just add a "return;" after the first line of that function; you might lose playback of the first few frames of the new recording, but that is probably preferable being kicked out of LiveTV with a av_format error. -- Daniel
