You should be able to select 'MPEG-2' under transcoding recording-profiles. I am working on reworking the interface a bit, so at the moment, you can select MPEG-2 for MPEG-4/RTjpeg encodings (which will result in a failed transcoding), and you can select audio options and resolution options, which will be ignored. But the capability is now enabled for doing MPEG-2 to MPEG-2 transcoding.
