> #781: RebuildSeekTable doesnt

I'm trying to understand what this bug was, since I've been using mythcommflag --rebuild quite a bit lately. Did it prevent mythcommflag from rebuilding the
seek table? is it something I should bother updating from svn and re-run
mythcommflag for?

I believe that it was not actually updating the seektable if you already
had one because it wasn't clearing out the recordedmarkup table until after
NVP opened the file (and loaded the seektable). So NVP was using the old
seektable and then would save it when finished.

Mark, is this the issue you were seeing?

yes. it loaded the existing seek table. then erased it. didnt update it as it found a valid seek table. then wrote back what it read in the first place. thus no change. pretty obvious once you look. however if there wasnt a seek table then it worked correctly. which of course is only good for videos as all recorded programs have a seek table except now for the bug that I mentioned previously.
