[mythtv] SVN8213, nVidia XvMC + ChromaKey OSD HDTV playback troubles

I finally upgraded to SVN 8213 after using SVN from early October for a while.  I wanted to try out the Chroma OSD and the new LiveTV changes.  However, playback causes stuttering audio -- I thought that perhaps my Athlon XP 2600+ was too slow, so my roommate lent me his 3000+, but with the same results.

I'm using AC3 passthrough (SPDIF out to my receiver); if I turn off the passthrough and "Use Video as Timebase," playback is almost smooth, but still skips in the sound and video (but not as much).  Recording while playing back simply aggravates the problem.  I keep thinking, "this *should* work..."

I've attached the "-v playback" logs.  I wasn't sure if this was worthy of posting a ticket, so I thought I'd ask the list first.  Any suggestions?
