Is it even possible to turn that flag off
for FF cards? When I turn off that option I get the standard 15 second timeout
message unless I turn off wait for sequence start, which then gives me no
video.
I'm using svn 7607.

Another thing I always notice is that audio and video are
ways out of sync, even with SD content until I pause/unpause. This doesn't seem
to happen with a budget card.

w/PBSHD & framerate
I've
done some searching around getting HD content on my Nexus-s using MythTV but
have never been entirely successful. The video is choppy and garbled most of
the time with short periods of perfect video. I assumed this was due to
limitations of the card. However, people are reporting success with
vdr/softdevice on a Nexus-s by altering DEFAULT_FRAMETIME in mpeg2decoder.h
from 400 to 0.
I
started digging into Myth to see if I could reproduce that and found that when
the picture was good, fps was at 29.98/29.98. However, when the picture started
garbling it went down to half that. I'm unable to figure out why.
Has
anyone had success with PBSHD on AMC3 with a Nexus-s?

Yes, I have Nexus mythtv-svn working with PBS-HD on AMC3. Works
pretty much 100%.
I found the hardware decoder of the card can not keep up with the high
bit rate for the single HD stream (or that's what I suspect). Check to
make sure you have "Using hardware MPEG decoder" turned OFF in
"mythtv-setup / Capture Cards / DVB : 0 / Recorder
Options".
