I know that you need to patch lirc-0.7.0pre7 I am successfully using the patch found at http://www.gemair.com/~neveld/
I do not see the device listed in the lirc-0.7.0 release, so I don't believe it has been rolled into the release.
Perhaps there is confusion between UIRT2 (serial) and USB-UIRT? Or has the USB-UIRT support been rolled into CVS? _______________________________________________
