DVD archiving and viewing is my main goal. TV is secondary.

Trouble is fine, as long as it works. I think I answered my question 
above, though. I should not bother with using the PVR-350 for TV-out.

Now, since DVD is my primary concern, and TV recording is secondary, what 
is the best way to achieve S-video out with the highest quality?
