I have found one thread call "MPEG-4 Decoder hardware" where some people indicate there well working mpeg-4 output with celeron466 or P2-333. One person recommend to use the Xv output. I will give him a try. But nobody in this thread have pointed out the configuration.
The other thread I found called "mpeg2 hardware decoder" has only a little of information for me. The szenario descriped by you will be fine for me. I am looking for a solution to send my video to the PVR350 hardware decoder and from there to my TV-Monitor. Today I hear that the PVR350 only can decode self encoded MPEG streams?
