I've tried every conf file I could find. Unless I'm mistaken, the irrecord program should have results even if I have a conf file that is no good, right? If irrecord doesn't show anything and strace doesn't even give me anything when the buttons are pressed, it's not the configuration of the remote that is the problem, it's the configuration of the IR receiver in the hauppauge card.
