I used the 2.6 upgrade instructions in this thread to test my Twinhan card with a 2.6 kernel (on the latest KnoppMyth). When I updated the kernel via "apt-get install kernel-image-2.6.9", the only thing that broke was the NVidia drivers. I'd download the 2.6.9 kernel source and rebuild it yourself.
