What I had to do to get it working was rebuild from the source RPM provided at ATrpms and exclude nvidia's XvMC. "rpmbuild -bb --define "_without_xvmcnvidia=1" <mythtv-cvs specfilename"
This is not ideal as I would really love to benefit from XvMC , so if anyone can provide a solution it would be much appreciated.
