Hi all, I've been struggling/reading a while with prebuffering issues. I do have 2 kinds of ASUS Pundits, the one with the SiS chipset with snd-intel8x0 and the Pundit-R with the ATI chipset with snd-atiixp driver.
The SiS intel8x0 combo works flawlessly. Whem I move the disk to the other, change intel8x0 to atiixp and the buffering issues are there. Disabling the onboard sound and adding a SB-Live card with snd-emu10k1 and everything is OK. So my question is, is it a hardware problem or a driver problem ? Henk Schoneveld The Netherlands PS.
