Mike thanks for your comprehensive suggestions I will work my way through them over the next few days (weeks?) As a starter about the card all I can say is that in WinXP environment it takes a signal off a terrestrial antenna / aerial (as used by steam powered TV) and in WinXP a channel search is run that finds all the same channels (BBC1, BBC3, QVC, price-drop :), Radios 1 to 7, etc. etc. ) as found by my Sony "Digital TV / DVB" dedictaed box - if that gives any clues to the services found (a.k.a Freeview) Clive _______________________________________________ mythtv-users mailing list [email protected] http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users
