The radeon driver does not support tv-out at all :-( > So i try with the ATI driver, but in clone mode i see that the > Television can't viewed for a Xvideo Problem (i see a blue screen on the > tv, but not on the monitor) I managed to get an Asus Pundit-R system with Radeon 9100 video working using FC2 with Xorg 6.7. The current (November 2004) ATI driver does not support Xorg 6.8 (I tried first with FC3) and so I reinstalled with FC2 and the ATI driver then worked over the S-Video output on the video card. This was using *only* the SVIDEO output for X, not using clone mode. ATI's support is annoyingly slow, to say the least. > What may i do now?? I need it on Tv! > I use Fedora Core 3 with Xorg 6.8! If you want to stick to FC3, I would wait for ATI to bring out their new linux driver (should be this month) which should support Xorg 6.8 and give full TVout and overscan support. If this happens, I'm probably going to switch back from using X on my 350 to the TV out of the Radeon and reinstall FC3, as it will hopefully let me get the whole desktop displayed on the screen without overscan issues that are present on the PVR350. If it is very desperate, you could try uninstalling Xorg 6.8 and going back to Xorg 6.7, which I think I read *should* work. Check out www.rage3d.com for more info on this.
