here is my /usr/local/portage tree (slightly edited to only include mythtv/ivtv stuff and removing old ebuilds) it is what i use to build mythtv/ivtv every day hope it helps -- simon ps this is for building myth (and the various plugins - execpt mythphone) from cvs. if you are new to gentoo then maybe this is not for you. YMMV
