I've had good luck with the "economy" kvm's from StarTech, some of
which have external power adapters included.

Just keep in mind that some of them require special cables, so you may
need a slightly more expensive one to use "universal" type cables, or
buy one like this with the cables included if they are long enough for
your purpose.

The only thing is that you will need a keyboard input if the button on
the kvm is not handy, to use the hotkey sequence for switching.
