Sorta in keeping with this thread ... I use a MyBlaster to change the channels on my STB. I get the 2 sec delay caused by the ring buffer and then I get another couple of seconds' worth of delay while the change channel script runs off and tell myblaster to do its thing. I actually see the Myth OSD with the new channel while the previous channel is still merrily playing in the background, and then it changes. I don't watch live TV all that often, but when I do, this delay is a real pain. Is it not possible to fire both events simultaneously? Its just a thought that struck me; I haven't looked through the archives for an indication of whether this has happened in CVS (but I am wearing my asbestos undies). I'm running Myth 0.16 from ATrpms on FC2. Regards, Peter
