You could always use nuvexport to convert the files to mp3. I ripped the new HHGTTG like that.
True, i think you have to use nuvexport if the video is recorded in nuppel format, but I have a DVB card, so I can skip that step and tell ffmpeg to directly encode the .nuv...
I didnt have much luck with nuvexport overall on dvb files :)
