I've written a guide for compiling and installing MythTV from CVS on Mac OS X:

Thanks a lot for this write-up. It was easy to follow and it resulted in a working myth frontend running on my iMac. I had a previous build running on my mac, but it was a 0.16 release, and my backend server is running CVS. This write-up allows me to keep them both in sync since I can use CVS code on my mac install now.
One note; the mysql package is now 4.1.9, and the 4.1.7 release you reference in the doc is no longer available at that URL. 4.1.8 has a bug in its configure.in, so just use the 4.1.9.
Anyone else excited about the possibility of a mini Mac myth frontend? A little 6.5" x 6.5" x 2" box hooked right up to the TV. The last hurdle to overcome now is the remote control input. Perhaps a USB-based IR dongle.... Anyone have ideas on that?
