A week ago or so FF/RR and jump ahead/back on my FC2 MythTV 0.16 w/ PRV-350

the video freezes for about 15 seconds, the elapsed time readout changes a bit,
the recording duration readout goes backwards a few seconds (?!?). After the
'freeze', the jump ahead completes. The mythfrontend log says:

If too much FF/RR'ing or jumping is attempted, the whole box will lock up.
WAF is negative right now... any advice?
Well, the first part about the position map probably indicates bad data
in your recordedmarkup table. You can use mythcommflag with the
--rebuild option to rebuild the data for particular files. As for the
last, DMA errors sound like hardware issues but I'm not an ivtv user so
I can't say what is really happening there.
