I just found out about MythTV about a week ago and I have a couple of questions. First I would just like to say that the MythTV (and other Myth plug-ins), is a brilliant idea and from what I have seen, can be very usefull. My first question is about compiling. Is it necessary to be able to write and compile these codes and scripts in order to use MythTV? If so, where would I learn to do this? Is there a site (other then this list) that explains in large but simple detail, how to set up a MythTV system? I know all of you have probably been asked this a lot, but I'm looking for an up-to-date answer. What is the best Hardware setup I need to use, that will allow me to record 2 programs at once and still watch TV. I was also wondering about using my digital box for this system. Is there a way as of yet, to record ture digital and HDTV?
