...and that is significant how, exactly? The microarchitecture of the Athlon XP is significantly different from that of the Pentium 4, so clockspeed comparisons are useless. Hell, you could say the same thing when comparing the Pentium 4 and Pentium M, which is probably why Intel is moving away from selling its processors on their clockspeed. Most people are smart enough to not do that, and they're finally catching on.
