Hi,

I'm trying to get the digital out to work on my Shuttle ST52K (ati ixp
sound). I build mythtv (0.16) with native alsa (1.0.8rc2) support and
specified ALSA:plug:spdif as playback device.

It works great. however after a couple minutes sound stops playing,
video freezes and I get these messages from the frontend:

2005-01-16 18:07:50 Audio buffer overflow, audio data lost![] afree=1023
need=4608
2005-01-16 18:07:50 Audio buffer overflow, audio data lost![] afree=3 need=4608
2005-01-16 18:07:50 Audio buffer overflow, audio data lost![] afree=3 need=4608
2005-01-16 18:07:50 Audio buffer overflow, audio data lost![] afree=3 need=4608
...

Any idea what to do? Is there a way to increase the number of buffers,
or set up a better device than ALSA:plug:spdif?

Thanks,
BB
