I have the exact same problem. I have been using OSS with success except
for ABC HD shows. I have tried alsa with no success until december cvs,
now alsa plays ABC HD shows with no problem (was only coming from one
speaker). Before when I tried alsa volume control worked, now it does
not. I am using ALSA:spdif and default for mixer. Would it have anything
to do with the .acsound file?
